RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
Build genuine rapport with every customer who walks in
Guide buyers through our lineup without pressure or manufactured urgency
Present and demonstrate inventory, including test drives that close the deal
Follow up with every prospect, including the ones who didn't buy today
Log every contact and conversation in the CRM daily
Review inventory reports and stay current on what's on the lot
Maintain your CSI, gross average, and monthly unit count to store standards
Stay current on product knowledge and complete all required OEM certifications
Proactively mention our military discount to every active duty or veteran customer
Represent Star Auto Group in the community with professionalism
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Proven sales background in any industry
Valid Texas driver's license with a clean record
Strong communicator in person and by phone
Available to work Saturdays, which is when customers show up
CRM experience, or the willingness to learn fast
Prior automotive sales is a plus, not a requirement
Existing local relationships in the Abilene or Big Spring area are a plus
WHAT YOU GET
Salary plus commission structure
$70,000 to $90,000 first-year target for solid performers, no cap for top earners
